Alyssa Milano

Alyssa Milano was born on 19 December 1972 in Brooklyn, New York. She grew up on Staten Island where her babysitter, a dancer, took her to the open auditions for 'Annie'. Instead of the babysitter, Alyssa got a role, playing July and going on the road for about 18 months. After that, she took part in television commercials, as she was already getting an image of a charismatic actress.
At the age of ten, she made her breakthrough to national and international television with her role as Samantha Micelli on the sitcom 'Who's the Boss?'. The Milanos moved to Hollywood because of this role.
In 1992, the show ended, but Alyssa continued showing her talents on screen. Most people nowadays know her as Phoebe in the hit series Charmed.
